Luke

This is my friend “Luke”. He’s brand new, if you can’t tell, and he prefers to sleep through a photo session. I think that this shot of him and his mom is timeless.

Looks like they’re getting out of “Tupelo” as fast as possible! Just kidding. But this is one of my favorite shots from Monte and Jason’s wedding this weekend.

JC’s Day Out…

Had a quick 30 minute break from the heat today. This kid’s older brother told him that he would give him $10 to go across the monkey bars. JC had a great time helping him earn $10!

The Very Proud

Sunday, August 12th, 2007

I just returned from Ft. Jackson in South Carolina. This is one of the shots that I did for a magazine called “The Southern Charity Ledger”. I just want to give a quick shout-out to this up and coming U.S. soldier as well as the hundreds of others that endured the most intense summer (that I can remember) as they underwent basic training. You truly have many reasons to be proud.

Welcome to Heaven

We just returned from the most beautiful beach in the world-Seaside, Florida… Usually, I’m not an avid ocean swimmer, but something about the crystal-clear turquoise blue water called my name, and so we spent the majority of our vacation time in the deep blue. By the way, do you know how hard it is to be a photographer and get a photo (of which you approve) of you and your husband? We found this spot while we were out riding scooters along the beach highway. So, this was a case of setting the camera up on the railing across the boardwalk, framing it, setting the timer, clicking it, hoping you remembered where you envisioned yourself standing, yadda…yadda….I think you know what I’m talking about. We finally managed after about 10 tries of running back and forth- hopefully the line of people politely waiting to walk in between us and the camera weren’t too upset!

Here’s a few extra pics from our Florida trip. Just click the play button on the bottom left for about a minute slideshow, or hit the thumbnail view to browse. (by the way, the handsome guy with big, curly hair is my son Micah.)
