Chicago- My Kind of Town!

Sunday, October 21st, 2007

So, I have to admit that I have a love affair with Chicago. Being surrounded by art, history, incredible architecture and a challenging worship service at WillowCreek Chicago has been very inspirational. JC and I have been here the past few days celebrating our anniversary. Of course, I was wishing that I was working on Saturday. There must have been 5 or 6 wedding parties that crossed our paths within a short time as you will see that I couldn’t resist taking a photo. (BTW, that’s JC over there trying to pose for the picture.) The other is me and JC riding the trolley as we were headed out to The Navy Pier for, you guessed it, a bridal fair. Sick, isn’t it?

Ecuador

So, taking a little break from all the wedding images, I thouht I’d let you know what else we do. We just returned from 2 weeks in Quito, Ecuador where we served on a team that built 2 classrooms for literacy and vocational programs. My friend Alicia and I spent much time with the children of Foundacion Elohim teaching them about living as “King’s Kids”. The “kiss” photo is the final night we were there, and we actually had a little coronation ceremony. If you’d like to know more about projects going on in Ecuador, shoot me an email. Oh yeh! Check back in a week or two, I should have video.

One of those days….

This is Lindsey and Stephen’s engagement session. I had previously shot Lindsey’s designer bridal session (which I can’t post, because Stephen can’t see) and it was “One of those days” when we didn’t want to stop shooting. Lindsey and Stephen both live in Atlanta, but came home to Columbus for the session. What fun! I promise I will post Lindsey’s bridal images as soon as the wedding is over (April 2008).
