Let it Snow! Let it Snow!

Friday, March 7th, 2008

I know I’m not kidding anyone, but it is a BIG DEAL for us Mississippians to get snow like this in March. This is the view from our studio on Main Street. Not much traffic tonight.

Roses are orange….

Friday, March 7th, 2008

So, when’s the last time your roses actually opened up like this?!? My awesome husband, JC, brought these to me from Ecuador. (Special airport packaging). I honestly can’t remember any roses I’ve seen (other than “home-grown”) that looked this amazing after just a couple of days. If only they lived forever….

How Merry!

Thursday, March 6th, 2008

This is Merry and Brian. We shot this in Merry’s hometown of Ackerman, MS. I haven’t been there since I was a kid! I actually grew up about 20 minutes away from there. Merry lives in Jackson now. Brian lives in North Carolina. Merry will soon live in NC also. Good move, Merry!

Engament Sessions Galore!

Thursday, March 6th, 2008

As you may have noticed, the Spring is upon us. That could only mean one thing…engagement sessions! We will be shooting several different locations in the upcoming months. If you would like your engagement session just a little different from the rest, why not join us in Destin later this month? Or schedule a sunny April afternoon on Beale Street in Memphis? We will be doing some shoots in Montgomery, AL in May as well. Shoot me an email and let me hear your thoughts!

Ryan Claire and Cole

Thursday, March 6th, 2008

This is Ryan Claire and Cole. They have a fabulous farm way out there in Okolona complete with gators and 4-wheelers, etc. etc. You should have seen the camo boots. Awesome. Although I got lost on the way home, it was a fun day.

‘Tis the Season!

Thursday, March 6th, 2008

It is definitely the season for engagement photos! It’s getting a little warmer and the calls are coming! This is Katie and Brandon (aka “Buddy”) We had a gorgeous day on Sunday, so we shot mostly at The Colonel’s Quarters in Oxford. They both live in Jackson and made the trip “North”. Lucky us for the perfect weather.
