Nichole is from Amory, MS, which has strong ties to the RR. So, it was only logical to do her and Craig’s engagement session at the RailRoad Festival. I think they are practicing the wedding cake exchange with cotton candy in this shot. I’d rather have cotton candy, myself.

This is Abby and Nate, TBM (to be married) a little later this year. This was a fun session in Ackerman, MS-population 1,593. We began this session in the “downtown” area. Some locals were peeking through their windows and cars, errr….trucks, were literally driving up to see what we were doing and then turning around. I guess they’ve never seen a lens the size of mine (70-200mm). We finished the session at the family farm. I promise this was the warmest bunch of folks I’ve EVER met. JC didn’t want to leave.

Many people who saw our ad in the January issue of Mississippi Magazine were wondering who the “girl in the stairs” was. Well, here she is. Mrs. Lindsey Swedenburg Pond. I couldn’t reveal too much before the wedding because Stephen had not seen her or her dress. Congratulations Stephen and Lindsey!

This engagement session started the usual way by the guy telling me that there is no way that this could ever be fun for him. I wasn’t convinced. At the end, Josh admitted that it was as fun as it ever could have been. Ha!
